Kristine Eberhard’s artwork will be on display in the Canyon Community Center until Nov. In 2011, he was named Outstanding Photographer of the Year by the North American Nature Photography Association and has just been named recipient of that organization’s Lifetime Achievement Award. A regular contributor to Arizona Highways and National Geographic magazines, he is the author of ten wilderness-advocacy, large-format books, among them “Frog Mountain Blues,” “Stone Canyons of the Colorado Plateau,” and “The Secret Forest.” His photo “Stone Canyon” was selected by the International League of Conservationist Photographers as one of the 40 best nature photographs of all time. Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Jack Dykinga will share his images while discussing his life as a photojournalist and conservationist at the Historic Rockville Church on Oct.
